As a dedicated therapist in private practice, I’m committed to ensuring that quality mental health care is accessible to those who need it most. I’ve observed that often, individuals facing the greatest challenges are the ones least able to afford crucial therapeutic support. This Community Funding initiative aims to bridge this gap, ensuring that financial constraints never stand in the way of healing and growth.
HOW IT WORKS
The Community Funding program is simple, transparent, and effective. Here's how it works:
- Application Process: Individuals seeking financial assistance for therapy submit an application to our office. This includes providing some basic information about their financial situation and why they need therapy.
- Review and Approval: Our team reviews each application carefully to ensure that the funds are allocated to those who need them most. We prioritize applicants based on financial need and the potential impact of therapy on their lives.
- Funding Allocation: Once an applicant is approved, we allocate the necessary funds to cover their therapy sessions. This ensures that they receive the support they need without financial burden.
- Ongoing Support: We monitor the progress of our funded clients and adjust our support as needed. This may involve additional sessions or referrals to other resources.
- Donor Updates: We keep our donors informed about the impact of their contributions. While maintaining client confidentiality, we provide updates on how many people have been helped and the positive changes in their lives.

- Monthly Giving: Become a sustaining supporter by setting up a recurring monthly donation. This helps us plan and provide consistent care to our community members.
- Sponsor a Therapy Package: Fund a complete course of therapy for an individual or family. This typically includes 8-12 sessions and can be truly transformative.

- $125 funds one therapy session
- $500 covers a month of weekly sessions
- $4000 sponsors an average full course of therapy for one person
